Updating window

The Updating window appears immediately after you initiate the updating of the anti-virus database and program modules.

The top part of the window contains the update progress bar and the update status information; below them there is an Update size field containing the total size of the anti-virus database updates. If no update is required, the update process will be finished. Otherwise, the program will start copying files from the Kaspersky Labs Internet update server or from a local folder in your computer (depending on the updater settings that you specified).

The Total downloaded field indicates the size of downloaded updates in kilobytes. After the downloading process is complete, the anti-virus database and program modules will be installed on your computer.

You can interrupt the update process at any moment by clicking the Stop button.

If you want the program to close the Updating window immediately after the updating process is completed, check the Close this dialog box when the update is complete box. If this box is unchecked, click the Close button in order to close the Updating window after the update process has been completed.
